Based on recomendations from a sifu in North Carolina, I have searched for an authentic kwon to learn from in Michigan within 2 hrs drive. My techniques in the video showed interest but poor technique and so to remedy this I had requirements for whom ever I chose to invest my life into to. Loyalty to one Sifu is paramount for me, ergo, choosing a kwon and Sifu means life long commitment. I had to get this right. Using a brief criteria the kwon had to be:
1) Authentic Northern Kung Fu
2) The Sifu has good report with the community
3) A family atmosphere
4) A belief in excellence and high standards.
5) Affordable.
